Identifying and prioritising your audiences

Having identified how your product fits into the market, this workshop, led by Louise Kavanagh from Purposeful Marketing, will encourage you to explore and prioritise the different audiences for your business growth.

Using a range of tools, you will learn how to identify the different types of audiences, including your customers; assess their value to your business; understand their characteristics and develop personas so that you can better shape your products/offers, customer proposition and engagement strategies.

The Business Growth Programme together with Funding London and Five Years’ Time are running an Investor Readiness Competition. The competition involves an intensive course and learning from experts from across the industry. The 3 finalists will have the opportunity to pitch in a room full of investors.

This initiative is open for Business Growth Programme companies only and please note they must be available and registered for part 1 also.

Join London & Partners Business Growth Programme and Collider to a workshop to help you to answer a common question on everyone’s lips: How do you retain and upsell to your customers? This session will cover just that, as well as the end-to-end sales process, best practice, tips and tricks.

Investor Competition Finale

Time: 2pm till 5pm

The Business Growth Programme together with Funding London and Five Years’ Time are running an Investor Readiness Competition. The competition involves an intensive course and learning from experts from across the industry. The 3 finalists will have the opportunity to pitch in a room full of investors.

The final event will see 6 companies pitch to a room full of investors and companies who participated throughout the competition. At the end of the event 3 finalist will be chosen, and this will conclude the pitching competition.

Developing successful engagement strategies

Having defined and prioritised your audiences you can now begin to create the best strategies to reach, interest and engage them.

In this workshop, lead by Sila Nur Isik from Mind the Ad, you’ll have a chance to learn about the key marketing channels available and how they can be used to your advantage. You will be able to assess their value and develop affordable strategies that will drive your business forwards.

Measuring impact and scaling your activities with confidence

By understanding the value and measuring the impact of your marketing activities and how insights can be applied you will feel more confident in making decisions about your engagement strategies and potential returns on investments.

In this workshop with Gillian Kerr from Trade Horizons, you will have a chance to learn why evaluation is important from the beginning and on a continuous basis; the different evaluation areas and how the insights can be used to refine your marketing strategy, product/offer and customer proposition.

Customer Success Workshop, delivered by Hannah Godfrey

his session will be dedicated to retaining that customer once you’ve closed the deal. You’ll build an understand of what customer success truly is, how it differs from traditional account management, how to incorporate it into your business, and how to measure the success of your efforts.

Time: 2pm till 5pm

A panel discussion of experts which will include; seed investors, alternative finance, crowd funding and a VC. Where SME’s will learn 'Your Perfect Investor: Who They Are and Where to Find Them' event to help you find the right investor for your business. The session will help you identify what you are looking for in an investment partner, and highlight the best places to connect with them and leverage their experience.
